PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Pablo has more than 15 years of experience working in sustainable tourism planning and development with a focus on environmental conservation and social change. It is his passion to work with communities while reinforcing local linkages and using responsible tourism as a means of development. His professional expertise includes working at the Charles Darwin Foundation, the Ministry of Tourism as director of the Galapagos Islands, and consultancy projects on tourism management in natural protected areas, community development, and social entrepreneurship. His academic research focused on socio-economic and environmental impacts of the tourism industry.

EXPERIENCIAL EDUCATION

Born in Ecuador, developed a love for nature at a young age. This passion drove her to choose Experiential Education as her career. She studied an undergraduate degree in Ecology and Photography at the San Francisco University of Quito and a postgraduate degree in Environmental & Experiential Education at La Trobe University in Australia. She acquired personal and professional experience in research, conservation and sustainability working on, - Marine turtle behavioral research projects in the Galapagos - Humpback Whale distribution research in the coastal region of Ecuador

ACADEMIC EXPERT

Sebastián is an expert in the field of academic program design, he has worked for more than twelve years in all the regions of Ecuador. His experience includes working with professors, and university and high school students; developing academic programs in many fields of interest. A passionate naturalist and outdoors person, his vision of education is framed with the construction of iconic learning experiences in which the outdoors, inquiry-based learning, and experiential education, among others, are a baseline to design significant learning while exploring outstanding natural regions and cultures. He has collaborated with organizations such as the Charles Darwin Foundation, Ecology Project International, Kapawi Reserve and Fonag, supporting the education programs of all of them.

NATIONAL TOUR GUIDE/ MOUNTAIN BIKE GUIDE

He studied Eco-Tourism to promote responsible travel, appreciate nature, and became an Environmental Educator in Ecuador's Galapagos Islands. Since 2008, he has worked as a Guide/Field Instructor/Environmental Educator, inspiring people of all ages to value Ecuador's biodiversity and act responsibly towards the planet. He has collaborated with various adventure/environmental education programs, agencies, and organizations, emphasizing the importance of each individual's role in society to scientists, instructors, park rangers, and students. With expertise in risk management, he ensures safe and enjoyable experiences during activities on the mainland and in the Galapagos Islands. Additionally, as a pioneer mountain bike guide in Ecuador, he uses cycling as a tool for exploration, connection with nature, and learning.

Andino Garcín

OPERATIONS

Originally from France and from a family of essential oil producers in the "Provence" region, he was quickly made aware of the ecological & responsible vision. Coming from the tourism industry, he specialized in the commercial aspect of this activity and in the creation of commercial networks in order to develop connections between the different actors in the sector. Passionate and with a true entrepreneurial spirit, he has initiated several projects such as a Salvia hispanica (Chia seed) production unit in Ecuador, in 2013, and the co-creation of Team-Reps Consulting which aims to help tourism companies improve their operational processes, the development of new business options and the creation of a competence and technological network that can support their activities. As a DMC specialist, he has strong expertise in the design and operation of the most amazing experiences on board Galapagos cruises to FIT’s and groups such as alumni associations.

Hailing from Ecuador, she pursued a degree in tourism business administration and obtained a certification in a nature-based sustainable tourism program. Her motivation to study and advance her professional career stems from her passion for responsible tourism and the myriad of unique experiences it offers.
